If you aspire to customize your vehicle with this innovative feature, ensure that you limit its use to opening non-alcoholic beverages such as the delectable, timeless glass bottles of Coca-Cola. Savoring their crisp taste would be a delightful treat indeed! Stick to this principle and it’s easy to harmonize responsible driving with a touch of innovation and nostalgia. DIY Airbag Replacements We sincerely hope that this is merely a prank and not an actual proposal. This one just leaves you shaking your head in disbelief. The notion of substituting airbags with pre-inflated plastic bags is perplexing. While we acknowledge that airbags can be costly, this concept is unquestionably flawed and falls far short of a viable replacement. It neglects the intricate engineering and advanced safety features that genuine airbags possess. Let’s embrace innovative solutions that prioritize the well-being of passengers rather than compromising it with ill-conceived alternatives. Duct Tape Tire Patches Ah, the legendary duct tape! Is there anything it can't do? Picture this: you're cruising down the road, living life in the fast lane, when suddenly, a pesky nail punctures your tire. Fear not, for you are armed with the mighty duct tape! With a gleam of resourcefulness in your eye, you confidently whip out that trusty roll of tape. As if wielding a magic wand, you carefully patch up the tire, unleashing the power of sticky salvation. Your ride may sport a rather unconventional fashion statement, but hey, who needs regular tire patches when you have the heroic duct tape? Will this actually work? Probably not, but it sounds like a good idea! Blowing A Gasket This is actually kind of the reverse of most of these stories. This is a case of what the mechanic left in the vehicle after a service appointment that was then found by the customer. This driver took their car in for some work on the intake gaskets. While working, the mechanic forgot to take the shop rags out of the engine valley. The end result was an absolute mess. The rags were eviscerated and left in shreds. The even worse news was that the mess ruined the engine and what started as a small job became a full engine replacement! That's enough to really cause someone to blow a gasket. Forget to Change Your Oil? We've all done it, right? You either forget to change the oil altogether or you push it off for a while. Like anything else, who has the time to make the appointment and then go sit and wait for it to be done? One car owner took this to a whole different level. Did they wait for 6,000 miles? 7,500? 10,000? Who knows. Soaked in this much oil, one wonders if the oil filter was ever changed in the life of the vehicle. Too Much of a Good Thing? Of course, you want your car to smell nice. You probably know all about the little air fresheners that hang from your rearview mirror. They come in a variety of shapes and smells, but most often seem to be shaped like pine trees. We've all had that friend who hangs the new one over the old one- but usually, when there are three or four there, it's time to throw them away. Not for this guy! He had amassed so many air fresheners that you are left to wonder exactly how they weren't considered an obstruction to his view! Mary Had a Little Lamb Behold the unexpected scene that brings Mary's timeless nursery rhyme to life! True to the words, wherever Mary goes, her little lamb faithfully follows. Take a moment to appreciate the sheer delight radiating from the (not-so) little lamb as it comfortably occupies the driver's seat. However, this joyful spectacle doesn't end there. Adding to the amusement, a dog can be seen casually nestled on the lamb's lap, clearly enjoying the car ride on this rainy day. It's a comical sight that is sure to bring a smile to anyone's face! Things in the Rear View Mirror… Mirrors are a simple but wildly important part of your car. They help to keep you safe and they are a matter of legality. Since repairs can get expensive, especially when they involve replacement parts, we can see why someone would go the DIY route. While they might give you the vision that you need, they can't be street-legal. We respect the driver's innovation and determination, though! Metal Overload Imagine stumbling upon a transmission pan that's gone all quirky and mischievous, reminiscent of those groovy '90s Koosh Balls. But wait, there's a twist! This mischievous pan isn't filled with squishy goodness, but rather a jumble of metal madness. You see, normally there's a cool magnet in the pan, its mission being to keep the oil clean from any metal particles and debris. But, oh my gears! This time, it seems like the magnet took a vacation, and the transmission pan turned into a metal wonderland, brimming with way too many metallic buddies. It's a clattering conundrum, sending shivers down your car's mechanical spine. What a sight to behold, and yikes, what a mess! Metamorphosis Butterflies are beautiful creatures, but waiting in a cocoon can be a very dangerous time. Sometimes these majestic bugs have to get creative in order to survive long enough to get grown. What does this have to do with cars and mechanics? Check out this amazing butterfly that got itself stuck on the inside of a vehicle's light. You have to admit, it is far better than being splashed on the windshield! Needs New Brakes This work van needed its brakes done. As if more proof were needed, the driver pumped the brakes to no avail. The van plowed right through the garage door. It looks just like one of those ratings-grabbing scenes on a hospital TV show. The injured patient comes running into the ER, covered in blood, just to overstate the obvious, "I need a doctor." Caught in the Crossfire This poor Malibu was definitely in the wrong place at the wrong time. Somehow it was caught in some crossfire which led to it being shot more than 25 times! It's not just bullet holes, either- check out that non-existent back tire. If you were guessing this one must be a movie prop, guess again. This was a rental car that ended up being returned to the company by the local police. Fuzzy Wuzzy Was a Bear Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear or a poodle, or maybe one of Mary’s little lambs. We aren’t exactly sure which kind of cute fuzzy white animal this is or how he or she ended up behind the motor of this vehicle. Either way, this is a cute furball that ended up in a place it should not have been. It makes for a darn cute picture and we hope it was rescued safely. Car Versus Moose This is a truly sad picture, and it is enough to leave anyone heartbroken. It’s awful when vehicles collide with any of mother nature’s beauty. That said, you might be a little shocked at the origin of this picture. The car did not errantly hit the moose. In fact, what happened here is that the moose took a serious disliking to the car and attacked. The car wasn’t occupied at the time and we have no idea how they got the moose out or what happened to it. Full of Oranges You might remember about a decade ago when the Minnesota Vikings football team filled their rookie wide receiver’s car with more than 60,000 fruit snacks. This incident with oranges is not near so innocent. This car was filled with loot from a fruit heist. This really isn't a joke. When the car was pulled over, the driver was arrested for stealing dozens of oranges. Mechanic’s Helper Another gorgeous puppy is found inside a car engine! Believe it or not, this isn't Photoshop. This pooch was watching his owner work on a truck and wanted to get in on the act. The next thing you know, Fido has popped his head up right through the jacked-up truck to check out the engine for himself. Rat Race No, he hasn't hijacked a car to win the rat race. If you aren't familiar with these little critters, they will build a nest anywhere and love to chew on wires. The bad news is, no matter how cute he is, this fellow has built a nest inside the car and set his sights on all of the little wires he can take aim at. The best thing that could have happened for this car owner is for him to be washed away in the carwash. Don’t Wake the Babies There are lots of reasons you might not use your car for a while. Perhaps you were away on vacation or a semester at college. Some people only use a car seasonally at a vacation home. Whatever your reason, someone else might set up shop in your car while you are gone. Here, a family of chipmunks has built a nest in leaves under the hood of a car. They are just as cute as can be, but they won't do much for how the vehicle operates. They will have to be evicted to get the car up and running again. Holy Smokes! Smoking is a bad habit that can easily get out of control. However, when we see a picture like this, it only leaves us wondering if a single smoker did all this. If so, it must have taken years to come up with this many cigarettes overflowing the ashtray. Upon inspecting the picture, it leaves you wondering if maybe the butts were falling out from an ashtray much higher. No matter what happened, we are glad we aren't the ones left to clean up this mess. My Car is Trashed This gives a whole new meaning to saying, "My car is trashed." Typically this statement means you have left stuff from your last trip in the trunk or even fast food wrappers in the floor of the backseat. The car in this picture is not really a trashed car, but actually a trash car. They have been designated by the whole neighborhood to take everyone's trash to the dump. Stocking Up When the late winter of 2020 brought upon us the coronavirus pandemic and we found ourselves in lockdown, our actions took on a wild nature. Amidst it all, a valuable lesson was learned by the majority of us—the realization of what truly mattered, with each household having its unique set of priorities. A Reddit user named NHYetiMonster shared a photo accompanied by the caption, "While you were busy hoarding toilet paper, I was busy stocking up on genuinely essential items." Although the exact origin of this photo remains uncertain, the underlying message remains unchanged. Gremlin Tires This appears rather alarming! It bears a striking resemblance to the back of a Gremlin, where spilling water leads to the emergence of more malevolent Gremlins. Alternatively, it could resemble alien eggs that have nestled deep within your tire. However, in actuality, bubbles like these in your tires present a grave concern that requires immediate attention—fortunately, the solution is straightforward and more or less inexpensive! We sincerely hope nobody drove on this tire! Possum Surprise! We've stumbled upon yet another remarkable discovery of animals nesting under the hood—a grand slam indeed! While a possum might initially evoke some fear, this picture showcases an adorable sight. Take a moment to appreciate the sheer cuteness of this snuggled-up possum—it's simply precious. However, it seems the auto shop worker held a different perspective, as they swiftly closed the hood upon encountering this unexpected guest. Another Trashed Car Have you ever faced the problem of unscrupulous individuals attempting to steal belongings from your car? Well, this frustrated driver devised an ingenious solution, truly elevating their approach with imaginative and resourceful thinking! They crafted a clever "garbage cover" to conceal all the tools and supplies inside their vehicle, effectively deterring any potential break-in attempts. Now, nobody would give it a second thought! Australian Heat The scorching temperatures in Australia have reached such an extreme level that objects such as tires and tar are actually melting. One can only hope that incidents like these are covered by insurance policies that protect against natural disasters, as this situation is undeniably unfortunate. Just imagine stepping outside to find your car in this state! It's baffling to contemplate how the owner even managed to drive it to the repair shop for a tire change in the first place. More Animals Versus Cars While there may not be any visible presence of animals in the vicinity, there are certainly indications that they were here and have made their presence known. The engine under the shield appears to have been torn apart, likely the handiwork of squirrels or mice seeking cozy bedding for themselves. It's quite disheartening to witness such damage, but fortunately, the engine itself remains unharmed. Snakes in a Car We’ve done lots of talking about cute little furry critters that people find under the hood of their cars or that mechanics find during a shop visit. This is anything but cute! This snake has made a new home for itself wrapped around this car’s tire. W wouldn’t mess with this, but obviously, someone felt like they could pull or unwind the snake off of there. Hope no one got hurt in the taking of this picture! More of Mary’s Lambs Ok, seriously, what is it with lambs in cars? Could this many lambs have actually been found inside of cars all on their own? We aren’t sure how this happened and if they actually climbed up there on their own. It looks like it is possible that the owner of the sheep and the driver of the car may have just wanted them to have a warm place to cozy up for the night. More than a Nest This is more than just stocking up for the winter. This squirrel must be a hoarder! This picture shows not only the nest that this fur ball had made to help survive the winter and raise and protect its young but also the stockpile of food and building materials that they had amassed, too. This just goes to show that even out in the wild animals aren’t dumb. They know how to get prepared and how to take advantage of a good situation. What is it? This was recently found during a service job inside a car. What is it? No one has any idea. Maybe it is old wires that were tangled up and eventually fell loose. Perhaps it is the decomposed remains of someone's in-car lunch. In this case, it is really hard to tell what we are looking at, but one thing is for sure, it is one of the weirdest things that has been found during an automotive service appointment. A New Mom New moms giving birth in the car on the way to the hospital are not that unusual. In fact, we hear those kinds of stories all the time. What makes this unusual is that the mom-to-be is not a person and she isn't on the way to the hospital. This mouse has set up a nest and given birth in this cabin filter. These babies are cute but will have to be transferred out of here. Crashed Flight No one wants to see this but it does happen occasionally. This poor bird became a hood ornament n a horrible way. On top of the loss of the bird, this of course required a service call to the mechanic. Fortunately, this was mostly for clean up and there wasn't too much damage done to the vehicle beyond cosmetics. Poor Kermit! You may not catch it at first, but this really is a poor little frog lodged in the brakes of someone’s car. We have no idea how it happened or what Kermit thought he was doing, but it did not work out well for him. The driver ended up in the shop needing new brakes, not because of overuse or age, but because this poor little guy made the worst mistake of his life. Auto Predator This is one of those things that you really hope just never happens to you. This isn’t one you see all the time but think it through. What would you do if you walked out to your car in the morning to go to work and found this? When this car owner, in shock, called the local body shop for help, they were told there wasn’t much a service station could do. It ended up being necessary to call not only animal control, but the actual wildlife division to get this gator out of the car. This is Nuts! Once again, a squirrel has taken up residence under the hood of someone’s car. Squirrels are naturally inclined to store food for the winter and go into hibernation. Although we often associate them with making homes in trees, it seems they also find cars appealing as their hideouts. Hence, it is advisable to inspect beneath your vehicle's hood in the autumn and winter months. Who knows, you might stumble upon a cozy squirrel lodging! Transporting Pot It is hard to tell if someone was actually transporting this marijuana plant or if they had actually turned their car into a grow room! No matter what exactly is going on here, we think it is safe to assume that it is illegal to drive this car this way. If nothing else, your view f the rad would be completely obstructed! Loads of Cash It appears that someone has struck the ultimate jackpot with this remarkable vehicle! While we cannot determine if the bills are in Pounds, Euros, or another currency, money is money, regardless of its form, right? Can you imagine being the mechanic that found all of this? Bet they didn't get to keep it though! Calling Samuel L. Jackson We saw a single snake wrapped around a tire, but these eels are a bit much. After being submerged, what the divers discovered and pulled out defies the imagination. All of these eels going everywhere remind us of a movie about a plane and have us thinking that we should call Samuel L. Jackson right about now! Deadly Beauty It's intriguing how something inherently hazardous can possess such captivating beauty. Take a glance at that sky-blue seafoam shade, as serene and enticing as the vast ocean itself. Moreover, its fluffy and squishy appearance tempts you to seize a handful and compress it like a stress ball, doesn't it? However, exercise caution! This happens to be car battery corrosion—a dangerous substance. Mechanic’s Mistake Oh, dear! Could it be what we fear? A wrench lodged within that tire? If the car’s owner hasn't already received a refund and a new set of tires, we strongly urge that they do so immediately! This situation could be as severe as a surgeon unintentionally leaving a scalpel inside a patient's body. The mere thought of it makes us feel uneasy and slightly nauseated.
