Thoughts Since the man tossed that bag in the trash, she had been noticing it. She found it bothersome for some reason. Her words were muffled as she approached the trash can, "It's nothing." In the restaurant's window, she glanced out before she started digging through the pile of used paper bags and cups. Her actions were causing more trouble than she could imagine. Mistakes Were Made Pexels Sometimes, leaving something alone is the best course of action. That trash bin would be a risk for Kiara Johnson. Her anxiety and fear surged when she saw the man enter the restaurant. Her mistake was not to leave it where he had thrown it. She wouldn't be a good manager if she neglected her employees and customers, though, would she? Just Leave It A heavy brown paper bag lay amidst leaking packets of ketchup and mustard. As a result, Kiara should have thrown back the bag because the man had clearly disposed of something at the restaurant. In spite of this, she did not. In addition to his dark hair, he wore a cap that covered his face. Initially, Kiara thought he was harmless, but as she became more familiar with him, she would soon realize. His eyes were filled with fear, as if he were being chased and tried to hide. While she had never been in a potentially dangerous situation before, her intuition suggested she was about to enter one. Her movies had taught her how to recognize trouble. Logical Canva Despite this, Kiara never judged people based on their appearance. There was a feeling that the man was hiding, like he was on edge. Despite being in the middle of the city, his clothes were worn and his boots were dirty with dried mud. The man might have been from the countryside and was on his way to the city and needed a quick meal to keep him going. According to the dirt on his clothes, he had traveled a long way. Right In Front Of Her In no time at all, Kiara was facing the man standing right in front of her. When she got closer to him, his gaze was piercing, and she slowly backed away from him. Nevertheless, he still looked out of place, his gaze always focused on the restaurant windows on his side. Did he have someone in mind? From these few words, Kiara wasn't sure where he was from, but was certain he was not from around. She smiled and said, "It will be ready in a moment." Dirty Canva Nodding, he handed over ten dollars. In addition to blackened fingernails, his forearms were dirty with dried mud that stained his jeans. Grasping Kiara from her scrutiny, he grumbled, "Is there a problem?". Trying hard not to smile as she dialed the customer's order into her tablet, she replied, "no, sir." Something wasn't right. Keep An Eye On Him Canva Kiara kept her eyes on the man while he waited for his order. While he sat in a booth in the restaurant, she tried to occupy her mind. Despite this, her gaze was always drawn to him. It was the same eerie feeling that had overtaken her when she first saw him walk in that took over again. What was going on? He appeared to be chewing his food at first. Only one more burger remained and no pickles had been eaten. Her spine was tingled with fear when she noticed something. Talking To Himself Canva Rather than chewing, the man was talking. There was more to it than that. The booth was empty, and his phone was nowhere to be found. Kiara knitted her eyebrows. As she collected dirty cups near the man's booth, she hoped to hear him say something. Suddenly, she realized what had happened. She was being urged to help him by her spirit. As she got closer, she could hear the man talking to himself. However, she was unable to understand what was being said. The closer she got, the better. In Need Of Help Canva The man's words were still unclear to Kiara as she got closer. Despite his agitation, his ominous voice bore deep into Kiara. He needed help, didn't he? It was nerve-wracking for Kiara. It was debatable whether she should approach him and ask how he was doing. She never ducked an issue and tackled it head-on whenever possible. It was then that she remembered the advice her mother had given her. Strange Feeling Canva She repeated in her head, "Run away when you see trouble." When she turned around, she saw the man was now staring at her. She could tell by his look that he didn't need any help at all. The only potential danger there was him, and him alone. It would have been better if Kiara had contacted the police. Finished Eating Pexels In the paper bag that came with his burger and pickles, the man tossed the remainder of his meal. Suddenly, he pulled something dark out of under his hoodie and stuffed it into the food. Looking around, he wondered if anyone saw him. As she studied him from the corner of her eyes, Kiara pretended she was speaking to someone on staff. An act of quick thinking. Strange Canva In casual fashion, he threw the brown paper bag into the restaurant's trash bin. He tossed in his large soda cup and left after a quick look around. A glance through the window showed that he was the only one looking at the trash can or looking at people outside the restaurant. There was something wrong. Throwing The Bag Away Canva After he disappeared behind the restaurant's corner, Kiara walked to the trash bin to see what he had thrown away. Her fingers tingled as she pulled the large bag out, wincing at the cold ketchup and mustard that had been spilled on them. Heartbeats echoed in her ears. It was too late to turn back now. Calling The Police Pexels If she opened the bag, Kiara knew there was no turning back. The man had hidden something inside, as it was heavier than expected. Her heart skipped a beat as she opened it, her eyes wide with terror. Her mind screamed for the authorities to be called. What could be done? Was this a practical joke or a sinister plot? Did the man commit a crime? She should have known what she was getting herself into. She would soon find out. Should've Trusted Her Gut Canva Kiara raced to her phone as fast as she could. Immediately after calling the authorities, they arrived. A crime scene marker was placed at the restaurant, and questions were asked. Kiara was trying her best to help during all the chaos. The woman should've gone home and stopped, but she didn't. The decision would be regretted soon enough.
