According to TripAdvisor, Las Ramblas in Barcelona, Spain, has a whopping 824 reviews that mention how this location is mainly just a building tourist trap. This boulevard, located in the hectic city of Barcelona, sees more than 200 thousand people a day, so it’s no brainer that this place would be filled with locals trying to ‘trap’ tourists that roam these streets.
Most of the reviews explain how the area is mainly filled with vendors trying to sell tourist catch key trinkets and has a lot of pickpocketing happening. We should note that this street happens to be listed as Europe’s worst pickpocketing hotspot, so if you do see yourself strolling down Las Ramblas, be sure to be extra cautious with your belongings
