Celebrating the love between Radha and Krishna, Holi is one of the most colorful holidays ever. Themes of the predominantly Indian holiday include love, spring, and good triumphing over evil. To celebrate, people throw brightly colored powder at each other.

Día de los Muertos

In Mexico, Día de los Muertos (translated to Day of the Dead) celebrates and honors lost loved ones. Marigolds, face-paint, and colorful costumes are all a big part of this holiday. What it is most known for, though, is calaveras, which are sugar skulls painted in extraordinary bright colors.
