When Elizabeth turned forty-five, she bought the house. After just graduating high school, her youngest son was looking to attend college.

Due to this, Elizabeth would be on her own. All of her other children contributed to the purchase of the house.

Their goal was to give her the best life possible, not knowing where it would lead.

It didn’t take Elizabeth long to find her new home, and before she knew it, she was moving in. A charming and historical two-story cottage, it had long been her dream house.

After living in the house for a decade and a half, Elizabeth enjoyed everything it had to offer.

In the fifteenth year, something strange began to happen.

The first thing she heard was a low knock on her floor at night. At first, Lizzie believed she was dreaming.

However, the knocking became louder and louder with each passing day. As a result, she decided to investigate further.

In fear of a stubborn raccoon, she hurried downstairs with a bat and flashlight.
