According to local lore, two different brides who took their own lives there, a little girl who fell down the stairs, and the hotel’s founder Colonel Driskill are all notable presences at the hotel.

Many hotels are supposedly haunted, but The Hotel Chelsea has very unique ghosts. Mary, a Titanic survivor has been spotted at the hotel, along with many other spectors. The most unusual ghost is a 1970s hipster who likes to interrupt mediums who contact other ghosts on the property!
