Riverdale is an interesting and twisted take on the classic Archie comics characters. We’ve been talking about the hit show for a year now. We can’t stop. And there are countless reasons why. Part of the genius of the show’s casting is that many of the adult actors who play the parents of the teen star were themselves teen idols in the 1990s. So let’s take a look at the Riverdale parents then vs now. Because these actors were awesome back in the day, and they’re awesome now. And they’re definitely making a comeback.
Mark Consuelos, “All My Children”
In 1995, Consuelos starred in the soap, “All My Children,” as Mateo Santos, and is currently married to host Kelly Ripa, from the morning talk show, “Kelly and Ryan.” Kelly also appeared on the soap as Hayley, Consuelos’ on-screen love.
